Configuration is file-based. Prefer environment variables over editing committed files.

Critical. Never place LICENSE_SIGNING_SECRET on a customer install. Signing happens only on WinStack.

Set QUEUE_CONNECTION=database or Redis, and a real MAIL_MAILER. Failed activation mail is a support ticket waiting to happen.
